Release Notes: 12.2.8

We are excited to announce the latest updates to the Nomadesk Private Cloud Software Appliance.
This release brings some improvements and fixes designed to enhance your experience and streamline your workflow.

New Features, Improvements and BugFixes​

  • [Feature] Switching from WebDav basic authentication to digest authentication
  • [Feature] Added session based authentication for webdav with windows webclient
  • [Improvement] Added help articles linked in the software to myNomadesk instead of linking to the public knowledge base
  • [Improvement] When no firstname/lastname is filled in, show "Account" as text instead of a blank string on the web portals
  • [Improvement] License reporting is now done with a different background task increasing reliablility
  • [BugFix] When a partner filled in it's credit card it was not being promoted to a full Reseller account
  • [BugFix] "Reset 2FA" button was visible without 2FA being active if at some point the account had 2FA enabled
  • [BugFix] VAT numbers from Greece are now correctly handled
  • [BugFix] When exporting to a CSV on the web, the export did not work when a filter was applied
  • [BugFix] When a distributor created a reseller when an email that contained capitals an error was shown
  • [BugFix] When changing your password on myNomadesk and the password was left empty, an "unexpected result" was shown
  • [BugFix] In Admin, when a user had a source, the link to the partner was always shown even if the source was not a partner
  • [BugFix] On the partner portal the default filter until filter was the wrong year (2024 instead of 2025)
  • [BugFix] Background tasks did not work on some installations not running the latest version
