Release Notes: 18.0.6

We're excited to announce version 18.0.6 of the Nomadesk Private Software Appliance.
This release significantly expands the modern myNomadesk web interface and makes it the default and only available web experience.

The old/new interface toggle used during the beta roll-out has been removed in this version.

Modern myNomadesk Now Default​

Compared with version 18.0.2, version 18.0.6 broadens the modern myNomadesk interface well beyond the initial dashboard and core Vault pages.
The new interface now covers a much larger part of the user journey, including profile management, shared-link flows, devices, downloads, FAQ pages, licensing, billing, purchasing, user-group administration, and group settings.

This release also deepens the Vault experience with richer dialogs and action flows for uploads, previews, sharing, revisions, trash handling, workflows, locking, permissions, and other day-to-day operations.

Bug Fixes​

  • [BugFix] Guests no longer see workflows or empty-trash actions they are not allowed to use
  • [BugFix] The revisions view now uses the correct modification time instead of the creation time
  • [BugFix] Sharing by email now correctly creates file links instead of folder links when sharing a file
  • [BugFix] Improved error handling so validation and API errors are shown with the correct message
  • [BugFix] Fixed several Zoho preview issues, including shared-link preview sizing
